Description: ACM, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. It is an organization that promotes networking and a sense of community throughout the Texas Tech Computer Science majors.
How to Join: It’s $10 per semester, but you can pay for a year in advance ($20), if you like. Just stop by the ACM office during office hours with your Raider Card and one of the officers will input you in the system.
Hide this infoHey Everyone! The website now has a reservation system that is tied with your account (your forum and site account are the same). You can now sign up for events via the website to let us know you plan to come! This will not affect meetings that much but will help us determine interest levels for other events we plan to host as the semester goes on. All events and classes after today will have the reservation system in place!

Hello everyone! Hope you enjoyed your nice long break. Our site is going to be promoted pretty heavily in the next semester and as preparation for that we’ve been making several great updates to the site. Our new and improved event page tree is definitely worth a look through and dont forget to check our brand new html presentation system! Heres a tutorial of it so you can get the idea. Hope to see you all in a few weeks!

Join us for our last general meeting of the semester! After all the fun it comes down to this, taking place Tuesday November 29th at 6PM in Electrical Engineering’s Lankford Lab (Room 101). Stop on by for the FREE food (Raising Cane’s? ‘mmm) as well other other information pertaining to the Winter Bash and other tid-bit information for next spring.
Looking forward to seeing y’all there!

The new ACM site will be going live at ACM’s Committee Meeting on the 1st of November. Members who missed out on the meeting but would still like access to the forums should head over to the forums and check the announcements forum to see what they need to do to get access. This also applies for CS Department Teachers as well! Hopefully you all enjoyed your Halloween!
